  • depending on severity, compliance and response to treatment, you can expect to undergo this phase for 3-5 days per week for 4-6 weeks

CDT is the best choice of treatment for those patients already diagnosed with lymphedema. Prior to starting therapy, you'll undergo an initial physical evaluation which includes measurements of the involved and uninvolved limbs. When you decide to begin treatment, CDT will consist of two phases.

Phase I: Intensive Phase

  • Support the progress made in Phase I

  • Transition to compression garments

  • Bandaging and overnight alternatives

  • Choosing the right compression pump

  • Creating a new lifestyle routine

  • Exercises - Self-Care - Follow-up visit

  • Tips for remaining consistent

  • A life-long commitment
